I recently stayed at Ha Noi Lantern Dorm and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, right in the center of the old quarter without being too loud. The beds were comfortable and the curtains added a nice touch of privacy. I also appreciated the modern showers and the good air conditioning in the room. The staff, especially Lee, was friendly and helpful, making me feel like I was talking to a friend. The free pho for breakfast was a great bonus too. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hostel had a beautiful bar and terrace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a drink. the spacious bathroom was a definite plus, and I appreciated the curtains and outlets at every bed for added privacy and convenience. they provided a little bag with a toothbrush and soap+shampoo, a nice touch.
My experience in the 8-bed female dorm was not great. the room was quite small and cramped, and my locker was broken.

Great location in the heart of the old city, with an ATM and airport bus stop nearby. Very helpful staff who provided fast responses to my questions before my stay. Enjoyed the delicious Vietnamese ice cream/dessert offered at the restaurant.
No personal lamps or lockers in some of the beds, and the lockers that were available couldn't close properly. the lack of common area to relax was a downside, and the dorm room could get noisy, especially with the loud music from the restaurant on the first and second floors.

I stayed at Ha Noi Lantern Dorm for 3 nights during my solo trip. The location was amazing, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The receptionist even gave me her phone number in case I needed help at night. The beds were comfortable with curtains for privacy. The rates were affordable, and the option for a cheap taxi pickup from the airport was convenient. a fantastic stay with kind and helpful people.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I have to say, the value for money at this place is amazing. I got a comfortable room with soft beds and good pillows. Plus, the location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Old Town. The staff were so friendly and helpful, making my stay even better.
Breakfast delights, but it would be even better with more vegetarian options.

The value for money at Ha Noi Lantern Dorm was great, with a very clean and neat room equipped with large lockers and curtains for privacy. The location in the center of the old quarter was convenient and not overly noisy. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke good English, making my stay even more enjoyable.
For breakfast, it would have been better if there was a wider variety of options available.

We were like, 5 mins away from Hanoi Old City Gate and Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. It was so convenient, we could just walk there and get our party on. Plus, the staff was super cool and helpful. They even gave us a 10% discount at the bar downstairs. Highly recommend for young peeps!
The only thing we wished for was a more happening nightlife scene at the hostel. It would've been awesome if they had like, a rooftop party or something.
